India, led by Rohit Sharma, is set to commence their campaign on Saturday, September 2, at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka.
After a six-day skill enhancement camp in Alur, Karnataka, the Indian squad arrived in the island nation on Wednesday, August 30. In preparation for their inaugural fixture, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video on their social media platforms, showcasing the players participating in a playful headshots session. Among those featured in the video were Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, and Shubman Gill, among others.
The BCCI captioned the post with, “Lights. Camera. Action. Have a look at #TeamIndia’s fun-filled Headshots session ahead of #AsiaCup2023.”
