Team India touched down in Delhi for the second T20I against Bangladesh, following their commanding victory in the series opener on October 6. The team is in high spirits as they prepare for the next clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. After their win in Gwalior, the players were seen departing for the national capital, eagerly welcomed by fans along the way.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the team’s travel on X (formerly Twitter), featuring popular stars like Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rinku Singh. The post read, “Team India have arrived for the 2nd INDvBAN T20I,” accompanied by a video capturing the journey.

The clip begins with Indian cricketers leaving their Gwalior hotel, greeted by a large crowd of supporters at the airport. As they boarded the flight, the mood was light, with players enjoying the journey to Delhi. Once they landed, the team was once again met with excited fans, cheering them on as they boarded the team bus and arrived at their hotel.

 

In true Indian fashion, the cricketers received a grand welcome, complete with drums and traditional music. Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav, always full of energy, even busted out a few dance moves before heading inside.

Fans, who couldn’t meet the team in person, flooded the comment section of the BCCI post with their best wishes. “All the best, guys!” one fan wrote, while another was already excited for the upcoming match, commenting, “One more exciting match.” Several fans expressed confidence in India sealing the series early, with one saying, “Let’s do it in Delhi!”

In the first T20I in Gwalior, India claimed a dominant seven-wicket win over Bangladesh. After winning the toss and choosing to field, India’s bowling attack, led by Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy, dismantled the visitors, taking six wickets between them for just 45 runs. Bangladesh was restricted to 127, and India chased the target with ease in just 11.5 overs. Hardik Pandya starred in the run chase with a blistering 39 off 16 balls, including five boundaries and two sixes, securing a comfortable win for the Men in Blue.
