Fans are eagerly waiting for the commencement of the Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup, the Indian cricket team took a much-needed break to unwind in the stunning surroundings of Barbados. The bright blue waters and chaste white sandy beaches provide the perfect backdrop for teh players to relax and have fun.

In a video shared by the BCCI, the Indian cricketers were seen enjoying a friendly game of beach volleyball, basking in the Caribbean sun and unwinding after managing not to lose a single game in the group stage. The clip featured key players such as Virat Kohli, Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Arshdeep Singh diving, running, and laughing throughout the match.

Adding to the camaraderie, Yuzvendra Chahal and fielding coach T Dilip were seen joining the fun. The video included reserve player Khaleel Ahmed, who commented on the volleyball game, saying, “We have pretty good players in our team (volleyball) like Rinku Singh and Yashasvi Jaiswal.”

 

Leading by example, Virat Kohli was at his usual enthusiastic best as he animatedly celebrated each successful volley with his teammates. His energy was infectious, with young players like Rinku and Arshdeep matching his spirited play.

The team faces an intense schedule ahead in teh Super 8 stage as they will be locking horns with Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Australia on June 20, June 22, and June 24 respectively. This brief respite on the beach was clearly a welcome and necessary break for the Men in Blue.

The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, has built considerable momentum with their unbeaten streak in the group stage.
