The Indian team will be touring South Africa from the next month and they have started the preparations. First, India opted for green batting tracks during Sri Lanka Test series and now Indian batsmen are sounding their techniques in front of short pitch balls.
Keeping Test series in mind, star opener Shikhar Dhawan starts facing some training drills which can help him to cop from furious bouncers by South African pacers. R Sridhar is helping him with a tennis ball and tennis racket. Dhawan faced back to back forehead high balls from Sridhar and he tried to handle them, whether to leave or play.

The southpaw had some issues against bouncers and he troubled to score runs in Australia and South Africa. Thus, he is gearing up for this 3-match Test series with routine short-ball training. Sanjay Bangar handed this task to Sridhar, who stands in the middle of the pitch and hit tennis balls by a racket, which rise as high as his head.
India will kick off their South Africa tour with first Test match at Cape Town from January 5.
