Indian speedster Mohammed Siraj had left everyone laughing at the end of Day 3 of the Rajkot Test match. Speaking at the end of the game on Saturday, February 17, Siraj made a funny comment on Dinesh Karthik, who was commentating for the official broadcaster as well.  However, Dinesh Karthik took interview with Siraj for Jio Cinema and he signed off by telling Karthik that he would catch up with him in Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League 2024. It happened when Dinesh Karthik asked Siraj what he was up to during his break from the second Test match in Vizag to which Siraj answered.

“I did nothing. I was with my family, I enjoyed, 5 days I took a break, and then I trained at home. I was missing Jasprit (Bumrah) bhai’s yorkers from home, so I thought that I will do it here in Rajkot,” Mohammed Siraj said. “Thank you DK bhai, see you in RCB.”

However, Dinesh Karthik has not been on the radar of the Test squad for several years and he played his last Test in 2018 as well. Karthik however continues to play domestic cricket and he is an in-demand cricketer in the Indian Premier League as well. And, apart from playing,  Karthik also commentates for several broadcasters and made headlines already.

“With Ash bhai (R Ashwin) not being there we were only four bowlers in the ground. We had the responsibility to do well against there aggressive batting. We told ourselves that we will stick to our lengths and wait for their mistakes,” Mohammed Siraj sconcluded. “As a bowler, I feel against batters like Ben Duckett the idea is to consistently hit one area. If we dry up the boundaries, we know that Duckett would try something different to get runs.”
