Rising Pune Supergiant’s latest sensation, Rahul Tripathi, is riding a on a consistent wave in this season of the Indian Premier League. The pressure of losing his senior opening partner in Ajinkya Rahane did not affect him.
The 26-year old right-hand batsman has been playing for Maharashtra for close to five years now. In what is his maiden IPL season, Tripathi has impressed one and all with his heroics at the top of the order.
He has scored 253 runs in seven matches so far. His average of 36.14 and strike rate of 150.59 speaks a lot about his consistency. He also has the most number of runs in the powerplay in this IPL.
