In India, cricket and Bollywood are more than just professions—they’re a way of life. Together, they create a whirlwind of emotion, hero-worship, and mass hysteria, uniting millions across the country. So when stars from both worlds collide, it’s bound to capture attention. Recently, actor Tiger Shroff was seen enjoying a game of beach cricket during a movie shoot, with none other than Akshay Kumar joining him at the non-striker’s end. The clip, also featuring famed choreographer Ganesh Acharya, has taken Instagram by storm.

In the viral reel, Tiger Shroff displayed raw power and athleticism, smashing the ball with ease, albeit with unorthodox technique. “Koi technique nahi par bahot jaan hai,” Tiger captioned the post, acknowledging his flair over form. It was a playful yet passionate display of cricket, showcasing his love for the game.

Tiger Shroff has always been vocal about his sporting interests. A die-hard fan of the Mumbai Indians and Hardik Pandya, he went a step further by launching his own football club, Mumbay FC, which played in the Mumbai Premier League. Not only did his team reach the playoffs, but Tiger also played key matches himself, adding genuine sporting involvement to his resume.

Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, has deep-rooted ties with sports off-screen too. He owns the Srinagar Ke Veer franchise in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), a T10 format tournament that uses a tennis ball and gained popularity last year. His team finished runners-up in its inaugural season.

He also co-owns the Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), blending star power with grassroots-level sports. Akshay’s filmography also reflects his love for sport, especially in films like Patiala House, where he plays a conflicted fast bowler chasing his dreams. Whether on reel or real grounds, these stars continue to celebrate and promote sports with infectious enthusiasm.
