Tilak Varma, a promising left-handed batter from Hyderabad, has emerged as a vital asset for MI since his debut in 2022. Acquired for INR 1.7 crores, Varma made an immediate impact, amassing 397 runs in his debut season. With an impressive strike rate of 148.62 and an average of 41.38, he has now accumulated 1076 runs in just 34 matches for MI.

Despite Tilak Varma’s valiant effort, MI fell short of chasing down DC’s formidable total of 257 runs.
