Chris Gayle (Windies)

The 39-year-old Windies cricketer Chris Gayle has entertained the cricket world for a long time. The world-class left-handed opening batsman has already featured in all four WCs since 2003 (2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015).

Currently, Gayle is not in a good form and also he has retired from the List A format. However, he has wished to play the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup while Windies is struggling to find out their opening partners for the upcoming big tournament.

Though it is still unsure whether we can see Gayle in the upcoming WC, it is confirmed that it will be his final ODI assignment as well as it is likely to be his final international cricket assignment as a player too.
