The experienced left-arm pacer faced an early challenge from Rajasthan opener Yashasvi Jaiswal in the second over of the chase. Jaiswal came out with intent, smashing Boult for two sixes in the first three deliveries—one over deep mid-wicket and another over long-on. But Boult, known for his temperament and skill under pressure, responded in the best way possible.

On the fourth delivery, Trent Boult adjusted his length and pace, delivering a 139.6 kmph ball that landed on a good length. Jaiswal, riding high on his aggressive start, tried to go big once again, attempting to slog across the line. However, the ball zipped through, beat the bat, and crashed into the stumps. The off and middle stumps were left in disarray as Boult turned the momentum in MI’s favour.
