During the fourth match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals at Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals started their campaign on a poor note as they could only manage to score 125-9 in 20 overs.
The Royals enjoyed a decent powerplay Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson scored 48-1 in the powerplay. That being said, they faltered after the powerplay to the extent of that no substantial partnership was formed. They were hit hard by the failure of the English middle-order pair of Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler.
Sunrisers were aided by both their bowlers and fielders. Led by Siddarth Kaul and Rashid Khan, who picked up a couple of wickets each, the other bowlers in Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shakib Al Hasan and Billy Stanlake picked a wicket apiece.

If Stanlake can keep bowling the way he did today, SRH will boast of one of the most incisive bowling units in the IPL. #SRHvRR #IPL

Rajasthan Royals never got going apart from that 46 run partnership between Samson and Rahane. Like Dhoni spoke after the first match, they will be thinking if not winning, at least the quantum of loss shouldn't be much to affect net run rate adversely. #SRHvRR
