The match between England and Australia has seen several nail-biting moments so far, where Australia could only manage 125 runs in 20 overs while losing all the wickets. However, it was Chris Woakes who stole the show with his brilliant one-handed catch.

However, after dismissing David Warner early in the innings, Woakes took a brilliant catch while fielding at mid-on to remove Steve Smith in the T20 World Cup 2021 Super 12s clash in Dubai on Saturday. It was a short ball way outside off stump and Smith tried to clear the in-field. Woakes, however, stretched his right-hand full length and grabbed a stunner as well.

As far as the game is concerned, after putting Australia in to bat in their third match, England successfully restricted Australia within a below-par. All the key players – David Warner, Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell failed to contribute much. The captain Aaron Finch top-scored with 44 off 49 with 4 boundaries as well.

Prior to the match, Aaron Finch said at the toss: “We would have done the same. Looks like a really good wicket, doesn’t change throughout. The trend has been batting second but we can put a big score on the board and defend it later on. One change. Ashton Agar comes in for Mitch Marsh. Just a bit of a restructure there. Going with the five specialist bowlers, nothing more to it than that. There was real confidence in the side the other night which was nice. We’ve kept getting better and better. Hopefully, that can continue tonight. He (Warner) is a great player, been a great player for over 10 years, you can’t keep him down for too long.”

England captain Eoin Morgan said: “We’ll have a bowl first. There is a bit of grass, it actually looks a good wicket. It’s been played on throughout the IPL as well. There could be dew factor later on, whether it comes or not who knows. We’ve got the same team. (On Mark Wood) Unsure as it stands now, he’s progressed quite nicely coming into every game, hasn’t been 100% yet. Delighted with the way we have started. Two comprehensive wins in the two games that we have played, a tougher test today against a good side.”
