With Rohit Sharma’s injury saga taking different turns each passing day, some of the fans have humorously demanded CBI inquiry on the entire episode. Rohit Shamra surprised one and all by making a comeback to the squad against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Tuesday. The right-handed batsman was expected to stay on the sidelines for a longer period.
Rohit missed four IPL games since October 18 after suffering a hamstring injury. Last week, he was not named in India’s squads for the tour of Australia either with the BCCI not having clarity on his injury. But Rohit has not squandered a single opportunity to make it obvious that his injury is not as serious as assumed by the BCCI.

Soon after the squad was announced last Monday, Rohit was seen batting in the nets before Mumbai Indians posted photos and videos of the same. The India star was seen practicing in the nets on Sunday too, making India head coach Ravi Shastri tell him not to rush his comeback. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly had also given the same suggestion to the opener.
Rohit is raring to prove that everything is fine with him. And it looks like, he is indeed fine. The Mumbai skipper played the entire game on Tuesday without showing any signs of trouble. Even after the match, he clarified that his hamstring his fine, saying that his injured hamstring is ‘fine, absolutely’.

However, the fans are pretty confused with the way things have unfolded regarding Rohit’s injury. And as soon as he took the field on Tuesday, the fans took to Twitter to express their surprise over the same. One of the fans even requested that ‘there should be a separate CBI inquiry on Rohit Sharma injury’.
Here are some of the reactions on Rohit Sharma’s return:
As big as the match is the fact that @ImRo45 is back as captain. I asked @SGanguly99 can this be taken as a fitness test and he said yes to a degree for sure. Just hoping he holds up. For himself and India we need Rohit back.

@BCCI now how come @ImRo45 is playing? Either you should come out with a clarity regarding his fitness or omission (really)or you should discuss with @mipaltan regarding his match fitness if he is indeed injured since he is our main bat and future captain across all the 3 formats

Rohit Sharma was not selected in Team India squad for Australia tour, but today he is captaining and playing for #MI 🙄 Is there any issue with selection committee of #BCCI #Rohit #RohitSharma #MIvsSRH #Dream11Team #IPL2020

So now that Rohit Sharma is playing in the XI, can this be construed as a fitness test passed for the Australia tour? @BCCI @SGanguly99 #MIvsSRH #RohitSharma

@BCCI @SGanguly99 @mipaltan who is culprit here to spoil career of Rohit Sharma…@bcci is playing in the hand of few people… If a player is fit enough to play for club in a BCCI tournament only but not fit enough to play for country after 20 days…what a irony.. politics pic.twitter.com/Beg3jdjqMj

If the injury wasn't serious, why didn't he get picked for the Indian team for Australian tour ? He is playing in the IPL now and BCCI thinks that he won't be fit enough to play in the next month. #RohitSharmahttps://t.co/YHVrs2hQ1b
