Australia failed to match the performance of Pakistan in the recently concluded two-match Test series in the UAE which was won by the hosts with a 1-0 margin. However, the visitors will be heading towards the 3-match T20I series with hopes of better fortunes on the pitch, skipper Aaron Finch unveiled the biscuit trophy along with his counterpart Sarfraz Ahmed although it didn’t take time for the picture to become a huge topic of discussion on various social media platforms.

The two teams will be competing for the ‘Biscuit Trophy’, as the winner would be given to the winner of the TUC Cup 2018. TUC is a biscuit brand in Pakistan and happens to be the chief sponsor of the T20I series. Representing the nature of the business of the brand PCB decided to shape the trophy in the form of a biscuit that the company produces.

Trophy’s design became a hot topic of discussion among fans and even the official Twitter account of the International Cricket Council (ICC) decided to intensify it further with an epic troll. Along with the picture od the TUC cup and the Champions Trophy, ICC tweeted,  “You vs the trophy she told you not to worry about.”

Not just that, earlier ICC had shared another tweet trolling PCB as they revealed the TUC Cup 2018. “Giving taking the biscuit a whole new meaning!”

ICC’s tweet comparing the TUC Cup with Champions Trophy seemed to have triggered the trolling mood on Twitter as fans couldn’t prevent themselves from adding more funny tweets on the ‘bizarre trophy’.

Ahead of the T20I series, the Aussies must be looking forward to salvaging their pride after losing the Test series badly, while Pakistan would also hope to put in a better show in white-ball cricket after their sluggish performance in Asia Cup 2018.
