The unexpected delay caused frustration to them as they were in a good momentum. However, star batter David Warner made headlines with his kind gesture.
The ground staff were doing their best to drag the covers onto the playing surface once the umpires waved the players off and to make sure not much damage was done, Warner happily helped the hard-working groundstaff. He grabbed onto the covers and brought them out to the middle alongside others.
