One of the worst feelings for any cricketer is when he gets dropped from the national squad without getting much of a chance to perform. Samson and Risabh Pant have dominated the narrative around the Indian T20I set-up since in the past 3-4 months. It all started when Samson playing few memorable knocks apart from the double-hundred in the Vijay Hazare 50-over domestic competition back in September.

Samson suddenly finds his place in the national squad and was named in the Indian T20I squad for the three-match series against Bangladesh. He is visibly disappointed by the lack of opportunities and the subsequent snub from the T20I squad that will take on the Kiwis in a five-match series later this month.

The Rajasthan Royals‘ swashbuckling batsman took to Twitter on Thursday where he posted a cryptic tweet on his account. Samson clarified as to how disappointed he is and he did that by placing a comma on his social media account.

That comma by Samson is symbolic of a lot of things s it can be an indication of where his International career stands at this juncture. His international career has nothing less than beeing uncertain owing to the lack of any clear thought process by the team-management.

After being named in the T20I squad for the series against Bangladesh, Samson consistently warmed the ben as he watched Rishabh Pant struggle both in front as well as behind the wickets. He finally got a chance to prove his credentials in the final T20I against Sri Lanka but he could only last two balls, as he was trapped LBW by Hasaranga after he’d hit a six off the first ball, he faced.
