Meanwhile, Sehwag came up with one funny tweet for the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his habit of scoring hundreds. However, it has been a quiet period for Kohli but his century scoring spree was well known in the cricketing circle.

Sehwag posted a photo of an article which was about two students who opted to retake exams in order to improve their marks despite securing 99.99% and 99.97% marks.

While sharing this post, Sehwag wrote, “itni badly 100 to shayad Kohli ne bhi nhi chaha hoga (Even Kohli wouldn’t have wanted 100 this badly).”

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is going through a lean patch if scoring a hundred is the parameter. He hasn’t crossed the three-figure mark in the last 20 months, which is the worst phase in Kohli’s career. His last century came against Bangladesh in November 2019 during India’s maiden Day-Night Test at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Currently, Kohli is involved in the five-match Test series against England. He got out for a golden duck in the first Test at Trent Bridge to his nemesis James Anderson. He, though, looked to be back among the runs at Lord’s but got out after scoring 42 runs in the first innings.

Kohli will be eyeing to put the century-less streak to rest during the ongoing tour of England. India still have three more Test matches to play and one never knows when Kohli can unleash his beast mode that deals only in hundreds.
