England left-arm fast bowler, Tymal Mills shares his excitement is excited at the prospect of bowling alongside India star Jasprit Bumrah at Mumbai Indians (MI) in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The 29-year-old Mills, a T20 specialist who has represented England in 12 matches and has taken 11 wickets at a strike rate of 22.7, was bought for ₹1.5 crores by the five-time champions as a replacement for Trent Boult. With Jofra Archer missing out, Mills will be expected to feature in all the games for MI.
In a video shared by the Mumbai Indians, Tymal Mills said, ”Had the chance to spend a little bit of time with Bumrah during the World Cup. So looking forward to playing with him. ‘I have been wanting to come back for a long time and I am happy to get an opportunity.”

Tymal Mills, who earlier played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2017, will also reunite with Mahela Jayawardene, his Southern Brave coach at the Hundred. The 29-year-old will be looking to provide his best efforts in both field restrictions and death overs as well.
Talking about his bowling perspective, Tymal Mills said, ”Looking forward to meeting all my new teammates. Obviously (Mumbai Indians) are a great franchise. I haven’t played at the Wankhede before. This is my first time back since 2017.”

Five-time IPL Champions Mumbai Indians (MI) have also unveiled their jersey for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Mumbai Indians are the only team that will be playing home matches as the league phase of the tournament will be played in Maharashtra from March 26 to May 22.
Mumbai Indians open their 2022 IPL campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 27.
