Mumbai Indians (MI) is the most successful franchise in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they have won 5 Trophies under their belt. Rohit Sharma has been the most effective captain in the cash-rich league with the most number of IPL Trophies. But in this year’s IPL, Mumbai Indians had a devastating season being the first team to be knocked out of the tournament.

In IPL 2022 so far, MI has managed to win just one game in the last nine matches with eight regular losses with an awful net run rate also. All they can do is just prepare themselves for the next season. They had a pretty good buy in the mega auction with the likes of Jofra Archer, and Tim David in their campaign but Jofra Archer couldn’t be available in this year’s IPL due to injury which led them to a huge loophole in the bowling department.

Now with the remaining matches, they had hit with another blow as their Star pacer has been ruled out of the team due to injury. In what is a major blow for Mumbai Indians (MI), their expert left-arm fast bowler, Tymal Mills has been precluded because of an injury. He has been supplanted by South African Tristan Stubbs.

In an official statement for the same, MI said, “Stubbs recently debuted for the national South African A Squad against Zimbabwe. Tristan has had a very promising domestic season and played an important role for his team in the recently concluded T20 domestic league.”

Tristan will join the MI crew until the end of the time. Official account of Mumbai Indians tweeted about the same as well, as they wrote: “Wishing our speedster Tymal Mills a rapid recovery 👊”.
