Under Prithvi Shaw’s leadership, India U-19 Cricket team became the world champion after winning the U-19 Cricket World Cup for the record fourth time. India remained unbeaten on their championship journey in 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup while they thrashed their all opponents including the Australian side twice.
In the recently concluded 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup, the Indian opening batsman Prithvi Shaw was the second most runs scorer for his team. The right-handed batsman scored 261 runs in that tournament with the average of 65.25. He hit two half-centuries in that tournament and his best knock was 97 against Australia U19 in the Group Stage game.
