Gujarat Titans (GT) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are locking horns with each other in the 21st game of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper, Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bowl first. Bhuvneshwar Kumar provided a terrific start to the game by getting rid of in-form Shubman Gill for 7 runs.
After that, SRH pacer T Natarajan got the wicket of Sai Sudharsan for 11 off 9 balls, leaving Gujarat Titans in a spot of bother. Umran Malik provided another breakthrough by dismissing Matthew Wade for 19. Gujarat Titans skipper, Hardik Pandya who came out to bat in the 6th over started the innings pretty well by hitting three boundaries and a six. He batted at a strike rate of 126.09.

Hardik Pandya who is a dangerous batter himself was literally taken aback by the sheer pacer of the SRH pacer, Umran Malik. The uncapped Indian bowler already made a name for himself in the ongoing season with fierce pace. He bowled a fierce bouncer to GT captain Hardik Pandya at 140 kmph. The all-rounder got hit on the helmet. Fortunately, he escaped from an injury. The video clip of the same has gone viral on social media.

Gujarat Titans are the only team that is unbeaten in the ongoing season of the IPL 2022. They have played three games so far and have won a hat-trick of games. Currently, they are third on the points table.

Notably, they have a healthy Net Run Rate of +0.349. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad are eighth on the points table. Earlier, they got off the mark against Chennai Super Kings with a win this season. Sunrisers are giving everything to win their second game. On the other hand, GT are looking to extend their winning run. It would be quite interesting to see which team wins the game.
