Looks like the controversy involving Bollywood actress, Urvashi Rautela and Indian wicket-keeper, Rishabh Pant coming to an end after her latest interview. The duo previously exchanged some words on social media but nothing was too direct. Rautela always mentioned the abbreviation of Rishabh in her previous comments but one following their story always knew the truth.
Rishabh Pant countered her multiple times on Instagram but again, there were no direct clues. Now, with Urvashi’s apology, the ball is once again in Rishabh Pant’s court and it will be interesting to see how the Indian wicket-keeper batter reacts.
Speaking to Instant Bollywood, the actress was asked to share a message for Rishabh Pant in which Urvashi first looked confused. Later before walking off, the 28-year-old apologized to Rishabh Pant. “All I wanna say is.. What do I say? I don’t know what to say. Sorry. I’m Sorry,” said the actress by folding her hands.

For the unversed, the public spat between Rishabh Pant and Urvashi started when the latter made a statement about ‘RP’ in a recent interview. Rishabh Pant then took to Instagram and indirectly targeted the actress and then Urvashi took to Instagram to share a cryptic note targeted at Pant.
Urvashi Rautela claimed in an interview that “RP” waited for her in a hotel lobby and called her several times — she was asleep and saw 17 missed calls when she woke up.
“I was shooting in New Delhi and I arrived at night. Quickly I had to get ready because actresses need more time to get ready. So, Mr. RP came to the hotel lobby and wanted to meet. Ten hours passed and I fell asleep. I couldn’t attend any calls and when I woke up I saw 16-17 missed calls and I felt so bad that someone was waiting for me and I couldn’t meet them. I told him we’ll meet when you come to Mumbai. We met in Mumbai but a huge drama happened with the paps and all,” she told Bollywood Hungama.
Rishabh then took to his Instagram story to post, “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them “#merapichachorhoBehen #Jhutkibhilimithotihai.” Pant later deleted the story.
Urvashi Rautela then took a dig at Rishabh Pant by indirectly referring to Pant as a ‘cougar hunter’ on her Instagram post. She wrote, “Chotu bhaiyaa should play bat ball 🏏. Main koyi munni nahi hoon badnam hone with young kiddo darling tere liyee #Rakshabandhan Mubarak ho #RPChotuBhaiyya #Cougarhunter #donttakeadvantageofasilentgirl #love #UrvashiRautela #UR1.”
She also deleted the post later. Urvashi also attended the two India vs Pakistan matches of the Asia Cup in Dubai. It was rumoured in 2018 that the two were dating, but their relationship ended soon after.
