Chasing 210 runs to win, Kolkata Knight Riders received early jolts when Sunil Narine and Gautam Gambhir had to return back to the pavilion inside the first three overs.
The onus was then on Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey. On the last delivery of the third over, Uthappa struck a boundary off Siddharth Kaul delivery.
Returning back to the umpire to take his cap, Kaul found Uthappa coming from the opposite side. None of them was willing to give space to each other and hence were involved in a collision.
Uthappa was seen shouldering Kaul followed by some words exchanged. Umpire S Ravi was seen having some words with Uthappa. Later, Yuvraj Singh was seen showing his disappointment at the whole incident. When rain arrived, Yuvraj and Uthappa were again involved in a conversation, but this time a light-hearted one.
