One of his most memorable outings was in the final against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chepauk, where his skills with the new ball were on full display. In the final, Arora bowled a magnificent out-swinger to dismiss the dangerous Travis Head, setting the tone for his team.

Throughout the season, Arora played 10 matches, claiming 11 wickets at an average of 25.09 and an economy rate of 8.24. His impressive performances earned him a warm and enthusiastic reception from his hometown supporters upon his return.

A video clip of his homecoming shared on X (formerly Twitter) captured the excitement and pride of the local community. Arora was greeted with garlands, confetti, and chants of “KKR…KKR” as fans gathered around him, eager to take selfies and celebrate his achievements.

Arora’s journey with KKR began in 2021 when he was first signed by the franchise but was released the following season. He rejoined KKR ahead of the 2023 edition, forming a formidable partnership with Mitchell Starc during the powerplay and securing crucial wickets for the team. His debut this season came against the Delhi Capitals, where he impressed with a three-wicket haul while conceding just 27 runs, including the key dismissal of Rishabh Pant.

Against the Chennai Super Kings, Arora continued to showcase his talent by taking two wickets in an away game, despite KKR’s loss by seven wickets. In the Qualifier 1 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he dismissed the in-form Abhishek Sharma early in his spell, bolstering KKR’s chances.

In the final, Arora was particularly economical, giving away only 24 runs in his three overs and taking the prized wicket of Head. His contributions, alongside those of other new-ball pacers, helped restrict SRH to a meager 113 runs, leading KKR to a comprehensive eight-wicket victory. Arora’s stellar performances throughout the season have not only brought him personal glory but have also cemented his place as a vital asset in KKR’s bowling lineup.
