India ‘A’ were forced to make a couple of late changes to their squad before departure. Promising all-rounder Harsh Dubey was drafted into India’s Test and ODI squads for the Afghanistan series, resulting in Anukul Roy earning a call-up to the ‘A’ side.
Another significant change came after Riyan Parag was ruled out with a hamstring injury. The Rajasthan Royals captain had been managing the issue during the latter stages of IPL 2026 and will now undergo rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
