The teenage prodigy once again showcased his immense talent in Qualifier 2 against the Gujarat Titans in Mullanpur on May 29, producing a magnificent 96-run knock that further cemented his reputation as one of cricket’s most exciting young stars.

While Rajasthan Royals suffered a heartbreaking defeat and bowed out of the tournament, Sooryavanshi’s remarkable performances throughout the season remained one of the biggest talking points of IPL 2026. Despite the disappointment of missing out on the final, Sooryavanshi ended the season as one of the tournament’s biggest success stories. The left-hander amassed a stunning 776 runs in 16 matches, averaging 48.50 while maintaining an extraordinary strike rate of 237.31. His explosive batting earned him the Orange Cap and established him as the standout young performer of IPL 2026.
