The young Rajasthan Royals batter recently went viral after appearing in a light-hearted team video where he showcased his cooking skills by preparing roti during an off-field activity with teammates.
In a clip shared by Rajasthan Royals on their official social media accounts, Sooryavanshi jokingly called himself a “MasterChef” as he confidently rolled and cooked rotis. The youngster even hilariously claimed that the roti he prepared was as good as, or perhaps even better than, his mother’s.
One funny moment particularly grabbed fans’ attention online. While shaping the dough, one of the rotis lost its form, but Sooryavanshi quickly turned the situation into a joke by saying the unusual shape looked like “panda ears.” The wholesome video instantly went viral, with fans praising the teenager’s humble personality and entertaining nature.

While the youngster impressed in the kitchen, his performances with the bat have been equally sensational this IPL season. Sooryavanshi has emerged as one of RR’s standout players in IPL 2026, scoring 440 runs in 11 matches at an average of 40.00 and an explosive strike rate of 236.55. His impressive campaign already includes two half-centuries and a stunning century, making him one of the breakout stars of the tournament.
