14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues to set the cricketing world alight. After making headlines with a sensational IPL 2025 debut for Rajasthan Royals, the young prodigy from Bihar is now turning heads ahead of India’s U-19 tour of England. As per several media outlets, Suryavanshi recently smashed 190 runs off just 90 balls in a practice match — an innings that, while unverified by CricketNext, has already sparked excitement in the cricketing circles.

Rajasthan Royals, his IPL franchise, took to social media on June 12 to share a video showcasing Suryavanshi’s fearless strokeplay, peppered with elegant boundaries and towering sixes. The visuals only reinforced what Indian fans have come to expect from the left-hander: aggressive, fearless, and mature beyond his years.

His IPL journey was nothing short of cinematic. In just seven matches, he piled up 252 runs with one century and a fifty. He announced himself in grand style against Lucknow Super Giants on April 19, launching his very first ball in IPL for a six off Shardul Thakur. He ended that match with a brisk 34 off 20, stitching an 85-run opening stand with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The real fireworks came against the Gujarat Titans on April 28 in Jaipur. Suryavanshi hammered an astonishing 101 off just 38 balls, becoming the youngest player ever to score a T20 century and breaking the record for the fastest IPL ton by an Indian. His onslaught, featuring 11 sixes, powered Rajasthan Royals to chase down 210 in just 15.5 overs.
India’s U-19 campaign in England now presents another big stage for this young star to shine.
