Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinner Varun Chakravarthy recently said that he is interested in filmmaking also and already he has a few scripts ready with him. He shared that he wrote one of those scripts keeping Tamil superstar Vijay, who is fondly called Thalapathy by fans as well. However, Vijay announced his retirement from acting earlier this year and ventured into politics with the launch of his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Chakravarthy, however, added that he would happily give his script to Vijay if he wants to make a comeback in films.

Speaking on Ravichandran Ashwin’s YouTube channel, Varun Chakravarthy said: “I have written a story for him (Vijay) as well. If he asks for it, I will give him a chance to make a comeback. When I was 25, I had four-five dreams. A 25-year-old normally knows what he wants to do. Now, I have two-three goals of what I want to do. So, definitely, filmmaking is a big part and that keeps my creative side going on. I like to make stories, I like to cook up stories. I like to use two-three different characters and create 2-3 different situations. Based on that, I have written three stories. I have written full-bound scripts. The scripts are with dialogues and screenplay.”

Notably, before making his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut in 2019, Varun Chakravarthy completed a degree in architecture and worked as a freelancer too. In the same video, Varun Chakravarthy shared that he gets trolled by being called a mistri (master craftsman) spinner after an expensive spell as well.

“If a match didn’t go well, you would say, I got hit badly, some people would say he is not a mystery spinner, he is mistri spinner. That’s what people said. My mistri is, I am an architect. So, to build buildings, I think they are asking me to go back to mistri job,” Varun Chakravarthy concluded.
