Former England player Geoffrey Boycott applauded Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, naming him handsome and a nice person as well. Boycott, who had earlier called Jadeja his favourite current cricketer, shared this in his most recent
conversation. However, Jadeja has an impressive series against Sri Lanka, picking up eight wickets in two Tests and helping India complete a 1-0 series win as well as the second Test ended in a draw.

He shared his favourite cricketer of this generation on the Stick to Cricket podcast: “Jadeja, he bowls beautifully, his fielding is electric, and he can bat, gets his head down and bats properly. And he is a handsome so-and-so. I met him for the first time recently. Last year I went to India, and I met him. I said, ‘You are my favorite cricketer’. He said, ‘ No way,’ and I said, ‘Definitely.’ Very handsome and a nice lad. Just a good cricketer, isn’t he? All-round cricketer.”

Almost a year ago, Geoffrey Boycott applauded Ravindra Jadeja, calling him his favourite current cricketer. He also felt the Team India veteran possessed all the traits he likes in a cricketer as well.

“I like Jadeja. I’ve always liked him; he’s always in the game. Bowls left-arm spin, and his fielding is fantastic. I’ve always thought if you can do a really great job in the team, fine, become a great player, get your runs. But another quality isn’t spoken about much. That is, through your performance, can you lift the others? And he fields so brilliantly with such energy. And he bats. Has a smile on his face but is tough inside. He’s a top player and does everything I like about a cricketer – energy, smiles, tough underneath, and competitive,” said Boycott on the Overlap Cricket YouTube channel.
