Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar is turning 45 years old today. While the whole nation is ready to celebrate the moment, former Indian cricketer and Sachin’s childhood friend Vinod Kambli is going to celebrate the moment in a special way.

Last Sunday, the 46-year-old former Indian left-handed batsman revealed that he is going to share the common display picture (DP) to celebrate his best friend Sachin Tendulkar’s birthday.

He wrote on his Twitter account, “Happy to reveal the Common DP to celebrate my dear friend @sachin_rt ‘s Birthday on Tuesday, Change this as your Twitter DP & Show your Love for the Master Blaster @OmgSachin #SRT45.”

To celebrate Tendulkar’s birthday, Kambli changed the cover photo on his official Twitter account.

Earlier, in this January, Sachin also celebrated Kambli’s birthday and publicly wished him through a Twitter post along with older pictures, “Tum jiyo hazaaron saal aur saal ke din ho hazaar. Wishing you a very happy birthday, @vinodkambli349,”

Kambli was also happy to spend the time with his old friend during his 46th birthday. On the Twitter account, Kambli mentioned that best moment of 2018.

Kambli tweeted on that, “Good morning dearest friends. The best moment of 2018 will always cherish it”

Kambli-Sachin’s friendship looks to back in the good light after going through a rough phase.  Before making their debut in international cricket, they came together in the limelight in 1988 with 664-run partnership during a school match.

Recently, Kambli credited his old friend Tendulkar for helping him to return to the cricket field as a coach.

He spoke on that, “When I retired from cricket, it had occurred to me, now what, I thought will do commentary or I was an expert on TV. But my love has always been cricket, so I got on to the field.”

“Sachin (Tendulkar) knows how much I love cricket, so he said to me why don’t you start coaching, so I would say that I have embarked a path which he (Tendulkar) has shown and I have started on it.

“So I would say that he (Tendulkar) has a big hand in bringing me back on to the field. Whatever we have learnt from (Ramakant) Achrekar Sir, so I think the time has come, that to pass it on to the next generation, if the youngsters can take advantage of this, it will be great.”
