One can term it as a great human touch or as a sign of a true leader, Indian skipper Virat Kohli alongside his wife Anushka Sharma gave away their cozy business class seats to the Indian fast bowlers while on a trip from Adelaide to Perth, revealed former England skipper Michael Vaughan. Kohli and Anushka are celebrating their first wedding anniversary on Tuesday. Earlier, the Indian skipper, who is coming after a thrilling 31-run victory against Australia at the Adelaide Oval, was spotted with his wife Anushka and Prithvi Shaw soon after the iconic win.

Vaughan, who is now one of the cricketing experts for the series Down Under, revealed that both Kohli and Anushka gave away their business class seats to give extra comfort to the Indian fast bowlers. He further warned the hosts ahead of the upcoming second Test match in Perth as he stated that Indian seams are more relaxed now. He also complimented Kohli for his leadership skills and ‘great human touches’.

Sharing the incident with the cricket fans, Vaughan took to Twitter and wrote, “Witnessed @imVkohli & his wife give up their Business class seats to allow the Quicks more comfort & space on the trip from Adelaide – Perth !! Danger Australia .. Not only are the quicks more relaxed .. The Skipper is managing his troops with great human touches.”

Team India won the series opener of the four-match series, which was played at the Adelaide Oval, by 31 runs in what was a thrilling finish on Day 5.

Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara was named the Man of the Match for his match-winning knocks of 123 and 71 in the first and second innings respectively. Indian bowling line-up also lived up to the hype as they successfully bagged all 20 wickets with just four regular bowlers in the playing XI. The second Test match between India and Australia start from December 14 in Perth.
