The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli on Thursday made an attempt to perfecting all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s ‘jumping push-ups’ challenge and ended-up acing it as he added a ‘clap’ twist to it. Virat Kohli, who is known for his unbelievable fitness standards, was certainly impressed after seeing all-rounder’s unique work-out video and decided to attempt the challenge by showcasing his physical strength and adding a twist to it.
Kohli took to his official Instagram handle and posted of him completing the challenge in which he can be seen imitating Hardik’s push-up challenge while moving forward and backward. Captioning the video, Virat wrote: “Hey H @hardikpandya93 loved your fly push-ups. Here’s adding a little clap to it”.
Recently, Hardik recently took to Instagram and posted his workout video in which he was performing flying doing jumping push-ups while moving forward. Hardik also challenged his elder brother and Indian teammate Krunal Pandya to do the same. He captioned the video as, “Stronger. Fitter. Still under construction @krunalpandya_official, I challenge you Bhai! Let’s see how many you can do #PandyaBrothers:”.
The impact the Indian skipper’s fitness standard has been seen rubbing off on his teammates and once again it was witnessed by the fans and because of that, the current Indian team can be termed as the fittest to play for the country.
India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is one of the Indian cricketers who draws a lot of inspiration from Kohli’s fitness regimen and he agrees “100 percent”.
Earlier, Hardik had said on India Today Inspiration that Virat’s fitness levels have been an inspiration for many it’s not just him anas he credited the captain for setting the example and “leading from the front” in this aspect.
Hardik had said, “Yeah, yeah (whether Kohli changed the way the team looked at fitness). Lots of people started having fitness awareness. He changed and completely transformed. Why people follow him because he sets the example and leads from the front. A fit Virat is always the better Virat, as I have said.”
