Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, were recently spotted attending a divine prayer night, or Kirtan, led by Krishna Das at Nesco in Mumbai on Sunday, October 20. The couple, known for their spiritual inclination, stepped away from their busy schedules to partake in this peaceful and devotional gathering.

For Virat, this Kirtan likely offered a welcome respite after India’s recent defeat in the first Test against New Zealand. The loss, an eight-wicket blow at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, was a tough result for the Indian team as the visitors outclassed them in the first of the three-match series.

With the weight of national expectations on his shoulders, Kohli’s presence at such spiritual events reflects his efforts to find peace and balance amidst the rigours of international cricket. During the event, Virat and Anushka were seen in the front row, blending with the crowd and embracing the serene atmosphere.

The organizers even shared images of the couple, noting how their presence added to the collective sense of devotion. “Virat and Anushka joined us at Krishna Das Live in Mumbai today, seeking blessings and connecting with the serene atmosphere. Their presence added to the collective devotion, making the gathering even more special,” read a post from the event’s official Instagram account.

Interestingly, this is not the first time the couple has attended such an event. They were previously spotted at a Krishna Das kirtan in London in July 2024, showcasing their deep-rooted connection to spirituality.
