Captain Harmanpreet then took complete control of the innings, smashing the fastest half-century by an Indian in Women’s T20 World Cup history. Her explosive 56 off just 27 deliveries, featuring six boundaries and three sixes, lifted India to a competitive total of 170/6. Jemimah Rodrigues also played a valuable supporting role with a composed 34 off 28 balls.
