Star India batter Virat Kohli was recently seen strolling through the streets of London with his wife, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma. Away from the limelight and cricketing pressure, Kohli is currently enjoying a long family break after leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to their maiden IPL 2025 title.

A video of the couple walking in London has gone viral on social media, where Kohli can be seen engaging in casual conversations with locals. Fans online were delighted to see the pair, popularly known as “Virushka,” enjoying their downtime like ordinary citizens. The couple appeared relaxed, exchanging smiles and pleasantries with those who recognised them.

Kohli has been absent from international cricket since announcing his retirement from Test cricket in May 2025, after the five-match series against England. He signed off as one of India’s greatest red-ball batters, scoring 9,230 runs in 123 Tests at an average of 46.85, including 30 centuries. As captain, he guided India to 40 wins in 68 Tests, making him the country’s most successful Test skipper.

Earlier, Virat Kohli also stepped away from T20Is, signing off in style with a match-winning 76 off 59 balls in the T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa. He was named Player of the Match, helping India lift the trophy.

Now, with retirement from both Tests and T20Is, Kohli’s international focus is set solely on ODI cricket. His next outing in India colors will come in October 2025 against Australia, where he will reunite with captain Rohit Sharma, who has also retired from Tests and T20Is.
Kohli’s most recent highlight for India came in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, where he struck a match-winning century against Pakistan and a crucial 84 in the semi-final versus Australia, underlining his evergreen impact.
