Actually, Kohli won a fake trophy. Yes! It is the fake trophy and that too is an Oscar. The 29-year-old won the fake Oscar for best non-acting by the main lead.

Recently, on his official Twitter account, Kohli posted a video holding the fake Oscar and saying, โ€œThis is unbelievable, best award for best non-acting by a main lead. For trailer the movie, I would like to thank wrogn productions for never making a movie and my audience to taking out the time to not watching. This was a fake movie so thanks for a fake award.โ€

Earlier, on September 20, Kohli had teased starring in a movie as he tweeted, โ€œAnother debut after 10 years, can’t wait!โ€

The right-handed Indian batsman is in the lethal batting form. Making his debut in the international cricket since August 2008, Kohli has played 73 Tests, 212 ODIs and 62 T20Is where he has scored 6,331 runs (average 54.57), 9,919 runs (58.69) and 2,102 runs (average 48.88) respectively. Also, as the right-arm medium bowler, Kohli has taken eight wickets in international cricket (four in ODIs and four in T20Is).

As the result of recent consistent batting performances in every cricket venues, the Indian skipper is the top-ranked batsman in both the Test and ODI formats.

Talking about his recent performances, Kohli was the only consistent performer in the long five-match away Test series in England as he finished up the series as the leading runs-scorer with 593 runs in 10 innings (average 59.30).

After taking rest from the Asia Cup 2018 in UAE in last month that India won under Rohit Sharmaโ€™s captaincy, skipper Kohli returned to the international cricket in the ongoing home series against Windies. After hitting a century in the Test series, the right-handed batsman played another century knock in the first ODI of five-match ODI series against Windies at Guwahati on Sunday (October 21).
