The passion with which the Indian Test captain, Virat Kohli enjoys playing the longest format of the game is unparalleled. He looked in a jubilant mood as his team maintained a dominant position over South Africa in the ongoing opening Test at Centurion on Day 3. In fact, for a brief moment, Kohli could also be seen dancing to the music that was playing inside the stadium. Virat Kohli has always been known for giving more than 100% on the fielding and his electrifying energy often rubs off on others around him too.
Though there’s no denying that India is in a commanding position in the game, Virat Kohli himself wouldn’t be completely content with the efforts he has put in with the bat. He once again failed to convert his start count and was dismissed for 35 off 94 balls in the first innings.

During different phases of the game, Kohli has often been seen interacting with the fans, asking them to cheer for his team more. On other occasions, he starts to dance to music or the sound of dhol. On Tuesday, Virat Kohli was randomly seen getting his dancing boots on. Even the commentators chuckled seeing the India captain in a jovial mood. The video of Kohli’s impromptu dance is widely being shared on social media, with fans going gaga. Here’s the video:

However, there was a moment of distress for the visiting team as Jasprit Bumrah injured his right ankle in a freakish accident. Bumrah twisted his ankle badly while completing his follow-through, after delivering the fifth ball of the 11th over of the South African first innings. The Indian seamer was seen grimacing in pain immediately after the incident and as a result, Jasprit Bumrah was seen leaving the field along with the physio in what seemed like a precautionary measure.

After receiving treatment, fortunately for India, Jasprit Bumrah came back onto the field. Watching him return was a sight Indian fans would have loved. But Kohli’s excitement watching Bumrah return was on another level, which reflected in his words. “Finally, the rock has come back,” the stump microphone caught Kohli as saying. Here is the video of the same:
