Ahead of the new season, Kohli grabbed attention off the field as well when he was spotted sporting a fresh haircut. The stylish new look was crafted by celebrity hairstylist Jordan Tabakman, owner of the popular salon The Barber Club. The stylist recently shared an Instagram reel in which Kohli personally explained how he wanted his hairstyle shaped.

The clip quickly went viral across social media, highlighting the massive popularity Kohli continues to enjoy among fans. At the time of writing, the reel had already generated over 776,000 views and more than 1.6 million likes on Instagram, underlining the huge engagement surrounding the former India captain.

Tabakman has built a strong reputation among Indian cricketers, with several national stars visiting his salon regularly. Apart from Kohli, players such as Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill have also been seen getting their hair styled by him.

 

Meanwhile, Kohli has also begun his on-field preparations for IPL 2026. The 37-year-old recently shared a training video on social media showing him batting in the nets and testing out his new cricket gear while playing a range of fluent strokes.

Kohli heads into the upcoming IPL season in impressive form, especially in the ODI format for India. In his most recent international appearance, he scored a brilliant 124 against the New Zealand cricket team in Indore, registering his 54th ODI century. Despite his outstanding knock, India ended up losing the match.

The experienced batter also enjoyed a stellar IPL campaign last year, scoring 657 runs for RCB at an average of 54.75. His tally included eight half-centuries and a strike rate close to 145, making him one of the franchise’s most consistent performers throughout the season.
