Virat Kohli Did A Wild Celebration After A Successful DRS To Dismiss David Warner

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are locking horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 27th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. In the second innings, former RCB skipper, Virat Kohli, who is known for his assertive on-field behavior did a wild celebration after they took a successful DRS to send back, DC opener, David Warner, who scored a flamboyant half-century.

Earlier in the game, DC skipper, Rishabh Pant won the toss and as expected decided to bowl first. DC bowlers started off well as they dismissed both the RCB openers, Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat quite early. DC, after being set 190, was on the front foot after 11 overs, posting 93/1 with David Warner in the middle batting 66 off 37 balls.

Wanindu Hasaranga came into the attack in the 12th over, and RCBB decided to go for a DRS when David Warner missed a switch and the ball crashed onto his pads. Three reds were seen by the TV umpire and the on-filed umpire has to change his decision. Virat Kohli gave a big fist pump, the camera also panned to David Warner’s daughter in the stands who looks very sad. The Capitals dugout gives Warner a warm welcome back.
