Virat Kohli Does Endurance Training Wearing High-altitude Mask Ahead Of Pakistan Game

Former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli always managed to garner limelight owing to his high-profile status as a cricketer. Ahead of the ongoing Asia Cup, he opened up about how he was mentally down, and around a month’s break away from the sport helped him. He also looked like a different batter in the first couple of games against Pakistan and Hong Kong in the group stages scoring 35 and 59 runs respectively.

Ahead of the Super Four clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday (September 4), team India trained hard in Dubai on Friday (September 2). Interestingly, former captain, Virat Kohli was seen donning a high-altitude mask while running sprints in the stadium. The mask is used during intensive training and the session happened on Friday evening with the team.

Virat Kohli takes his training ahead of the game seriously. Even ahead of India’s opening game against Pakistan, he worked hard on his batting and kept himself busy throughout doing something or the other drills. Having said that, irrespective of all this, his fans and entire India will be hoping for him to go big in the ongoing Asia Cup and regain his fluent form.

The Super Four round team was confirmed on Friday with Pakistan’s massive 155-run win over Hong Kong. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan will now be locking horns with each other to become the Asian Champions with the final set to be played on September 11.

Team India will be witnessing some hectic schedule is ahead for the Men in Blue as they will be playing three matches in five days. After facing Pakistan on September 4, they will be locking horns with Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. The top two teams in the Super Four round will make it to the final to be played next Sunday. India is the defending champions and Rohit Sharma’s men will be hoping to defend their title.
