Virat Kohli has emerged as India’s highest-tax-paying cricketer for the financial year 2024, reportedly paying an astonishing INR 66 crore in taxes. This puts him at the fifth spot among all Indian celebrities. Surprise. Arguably India’s most dominant name in the cricket circuit across formats, India ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma was nowhere to be seen in the top-20 as far as tax-payer celebrities go, according to Fortune India.

Even after retiring from the international arena, Dhoni’s contribution to the economy appears significant and proves that he is still a force to be dealt with both on and off the pitch.
