Virat Kohli Engages In A Funny Banter With Harry Kane

The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli has been known for his admirable batting style. Some like Kohli’s batting technique, while others like his determination to win the match from worst of the situations. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper has been used to getting all these praises, but he isn’t known for his football technique, that too from none other than the English skipper, Harry Kane who is one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

Like many cricketers, Kohli has been one of the ardent followers of football as he likes to commence his likes playing football before starting his cricket training and he had shared a few pictures of the practice session on Instagram. In one of the pictures, the RCB skipper can be seen controlling a football caught the attention of a Tottenham Hotspur forward who was impressed with the “nice technique” of a star Indian stalwart. Praising Kohli’s skills, the England striker commented: “Nice technique right there”.

Delighted with Kane’s “legit observation”, Virat Kohli went on to thank the “technically gifted” England international for his wonderful words. Virat replied, “@harrykane haha thanks mate. Coming from a technically gifted player like yourself, I know it’s legit observation.”

Kohli and Kane were seen meeting each other during the ODI World Cup 2019 in England and even played some cricket together. While this time Kohli has received praise from Harry Kane, back then it was the English forward who had impressed the Indian skipper with his pace and bowling action.

After their meeting, Virat went on to shower praises for Kane and had said that England forward is a “much better at cricket than I am at football”.

Both Kohli and Kane are known for their brilliance on the field while playing of their respective clubs and countries. While Kohli will be next seen in action playing for his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise RCB in the UAE, Kane is all set to feature in England’s UEFA Nations League clash against Iceland on Saturday.
