Virat Kohli Expresses Gratitude For Charter Service As He Returns From Caribbean Tour

Virat Kohli, the prominent Indian batsman, has returned from the Caribbean after a successful Test and ODI series, which India won 1-0 and 2-1, respectively. On Thursday, the former Indian captain shared pictures of his journey on a private jet, expressing gratitude to the charter services and the captain of the aircraft for their excellent service during the flight.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Kohli thanked @acs_aircharter and @capt.abupatel for arranging his flight and providing great service. He shared his appreciation for the seamless travel experience back home.

During the Test series in the Caribbean, Virat Kohli showcased exceptional form. In the opening match in Dominica, he played a valiant innings, scoring 76 runs, contributing to India’s total of 421 in the innings. He further added to his impressive record by notching up his 29th Test century in Trinidad. However, the second Test ended in a draw due to rain affecting the final day of play.

Following the Tests, Virat Kohli, along with captain Rohit Sharma, was rested for the 2nd and 3rd ODIs against West Indies in Barbados and Trinidad, as the Indian team management aimed to explore their bench strength. The decision did not yield positive results in the second ODI, as India lost by 6 wickets after being bundled out for a below-par 181 in 40.2 overs.

However, the Hardik Pandya-led side made a strong comeback in Trinidad, achieving a resounding victory by a massive margin of 200 runs. The Indian batting line-up put up a formidable total of 351/5, with Ishan Kishan (77), Shubman Gill (85), Sanju Samson (51), and Hardik Pandya (70*) leading the charge.

In response, the West Indies were bowled out for 151 runs. Shardul Thakur starred with the ball, registering impressive figures of 4/37 in 6.3 overs, while Mukesh Kumar delivered his best ODI performance with figures of 3 for 30 in 7 overs. The comprehensive win was a testament to India’s depth in talent and ability to bounce back strongly. With the T20I series up next, Indian cricket fans are eagerly anticipating more thrilling performances from their favorite team.
