The Indian stalwart, Virat Kohli said that he is completely motivated to help India win the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup this year. Kohli, who stepped down from T20 captaincy after the T20 World Cup last year and was later removed from ODI captaincy, had a great record as a captain in terms of win percentage and bilateral series but failed to lead India to an ICC trophy. His lean patch of form was also a concern, but he said he is looking forward to the two upcoming tournaments.
Talking about the same during a recent conversation with Star Sports, Virat Kohli said, “I want to win India the Asia Cup and the (T20) World Cup; that’s the motivation. I have to move forward maintain a balance, get some rest, and some rejuvenation, once I’m in the mindset then there’s no looking back, and (it’s) great fun. My main aim is to help India win the Asia Cup and the World Cup and for that I am ready to do anything for the team.”
