During the interaction, it appeared that Kohli was offering some valuable advice to King regarding the game. The former Indian skipper seemed quite engaged during the exchange, and King appeared to be absorbing the guidance. Fans were amazed by Kohli’s gracious gesture, as he took the time to share his wisdom with King after the match.

Many fans appreciated the wonderful cricketing moment and understood its significance for King.

In the series opener, India won the toss and elected to bowl first. King, along with Kyle Mayers, opened the batting for the hosts. However, King could not make a significant impact during his innings and was dismissed by Shardul Thakur in the ninth over after scoring 17 runs off 23 balls.

The Indian spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja wreaked havoc on the West Indies batting lineup, picking up a combined seven wickets. As a result, the Windies were skittled out for a mere 114 runs in 23 overs.

India chased down the target and emerged victorious by five wickets, thanks to Ishan Kishan’s impressive half-century. West Indies had a disappointing performance in the World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe, which led to their failure to qualify for the marquee event scheduled later in the year in India.
