In the 31st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are locking horns with each other at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. However, RCB suffered a huge blow in the first over of the match as former skipper, Virat Kohli was dismissed on the golden duck.

Earlier in the game, LSG skipper, KL Rahul won the toss and decided to bowl first which has become a trend in this IPL season so far. RCB witnessed a decent start when their openers, Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat scored 7 runs off the first four deliveries but then the latter got out and Virat Kohli came out to bat.

Virat Kohli failed to do much as he walked back on a first-ball duck and there was a worried smile on his face. Sadness was on the faces of some of the fans in the stands as Kohli played a shot on the short a length delivery which was going away from his body, but he couldn’t keep it down and Deepak Hooda took a comfortable catch at the backward point.
