Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) stalwart, Virat Kohli is a cricketer who believes in fighting fire with fire and he often responds to his rivals in a fierce manner. The RCB batter displayed it yet against when he replicated Gautam Gambhir’s actions at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium from the reverse fixture between the two teams this season.

It’s a low-scoring contest with the hosts losing half of their side in 38 runs. Virat Kohli looked more energetic than usual on the field today by celebrating almost every wicket in an aggressive manner. The two cricketing stalwarts had a heated exchange after the match over certain incidents that took place during the final phase of the match.

However, the foundation of the clash seemed to have been laid a few overs earlier. Things started with LSG’s Naveen-ul-Haq poking Kohli and it potentially turned out to be the trigger point of the storm. The incident is said to have taken place during the break between the 16th and 17th over when Kohli had an altercation with Naveen.

The clash even prompted LSG’s Amit Mishra to come in between and calm things down but ended up having an argument with Kohli, his former India teammate, instead. However, Virat Kohli seemed to have told Mishra to try and put some sense in Naveen’s mind instead of his.

Here are the videos of the incident:

Talking about the match, RCB put on a score of 126 on a slow pitch, with Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli making 44 and 31 runs, respectively. LSG lost five wickets in the first seven overs in the absence of skipper KL Rahul, who is suffering from a quad injury.

Rahul was in deep pain and walked off the pain in the second over of RCB’s innings and he did come out to bat at no.1 but, eventually, LSG lost the game by 18 runs as almost every RCB bowler chipped in with a wicket at crucial junctures.
