As the world is celebrating to welcome the New Year 2019, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli has wished the Happy New Year to everyone from Australia.

Under Kohli’s captaincy, the Indian cricket team is currently on the tour of Australia. Virat Kohli celebrated the Happy New Year at Sydney with his wife Anushka Sharma, the Bollywood star.

The Indian skipper posted two adorable pictures on his official Facebook account and wrote on it, “Happy New Year to everyone back home and all over the world, all the way from Australia. Have a wonderful year ahead God bless everyone.”

In 2018, Kohli was in the very good form with the bat in hands. The 30-year-old right-handed batsman ended this year as the no.1 ranked Test and ODI batsman. He finished the year as the leading run-scorer in the international cricket in this year as he scored 2,735 runs in 47 innings with the average of 68.37.

Kohli finished as the leading scorer in 2018 in both the Test and ODI formats. In 2018 Test cricket, Kohli scored 1,322 runs in 24 innings with the average of 55.08. Meanwhile, in 2018 ODI cricket, the right-handed batsman scored 1,202 runs in 14 innings with the outstanding average of 133.55.
