On Friday, former England captain Kevin Pietersen posted a video and brought to the notice of India captain Virat Kohli who is an ‘unreal’ talent. He also requested the Indian captain to consider him in the squad. The video which was posted by Pietersen shows a small kid, still in his diapers wearing gloves, playing some beautiful lofted straight drives and cover drives. The same video was shared by former English cricketer Michael Vaughan a few days ago as well.
Asking Virat Kohli to include him in the squad, Pietersen jokingly wrote on Instagram, asking Kohli, “WHAT?!?!?!?!?! Get him in your squad, @virat.kohli! Can you pick him?” Equally impressed with the talent the kid has, Kohli replied, “Where’s he from??? He’s unreal.”

As far as the game is concerned, Virat Kohli is currently preparing to lead Team India in the three-match ODI series against West Indies. The first ODI will be played at Chennai on Sunday (December 15). Earlier, India beat West Indies by a whopping 67 runs in the third and final Twenty20 International match on Wednesday on the back of three half-centuries from Lokesh Rahul, Kohli and Rohit Sharma. With this win, India also won the three-match T20I series. They will now try to carry forward their winning momentum in the ODI series as well.
